In January 2009 we traveled for the second time to India to finally fulfill the dream of our lives.
After this experience, all we are: our professions, our passions, our skills, our interests, all came together in a single path.
Güngur.
Began studying Kuchipudi in 2001 with Ms. Ranga Vivekanandan in Argentina. In 2003 she met the renowned dancer Myrta Barvié and since then studied with her Bharata Natyam style.
In 2007, she travelled to India for the first time to further refine both styles with teachers Bharata Kalanjali School (Bharata Natyam style) and the dancer Amrita Lahiri (Kuchipudi style).
Returning from this first trip, she was invited, along with Silvia Rissi and Leonora Bonetto, to be part of the dance group of Myrta Barvié to perform in cultural centers and events organized by the Embassy of India.
Since 2005, along with Silvia Rissi, she forms part of Buddha Sounds, performing throughout Latin America.
In 2009 she returned to India to continue her studies of classical dances, this time incorporating the learning of Odissi style of North India. Guru Gangadhar Pradhan, Manoranjan Pradhan, Aruna Lingaraj Kumar Swain and Pradhan were her teachers in this style.
In this second trip and with her sister Patricia, clothing designer and dancer, Gungur was born, carrying out the desire of a whole way of life.
