Pooja. We help you help.

Introduction

In Hinduism, Pooja is a form of worship related to belief and conviction. It is a ceremony of thanksgiving or ritual that is performed as an offering in a variety of occasions and settings. Whether in the home or as part of temple ceremonies, Pooja is based on the idea of giving a gift to a deity or important person, receiving his/her blessing and creating an atmosphere of positive energy.

When we dream of carrying out this project, the ultimate goal is to provide solidarity and involvement to collaborate and work with what we really love. We chose Pooja as a name to represent our reason for being and motivation behind the pursuit of this project.

How?

Starting in 2011, once Güngur ensures their autonomy and sustainability, Pooja will be launched with the purpose of activating the goal of building and promoting solidarity.
Through classes and performances of classical Indian dances and through the sale of Sundar products, we will raise funds to promote the art of India and to make donations to NGOs and foundations related to Dance and women.

In reference to the promotion of Indian art, the main objective will be to bring material related to the study of dance directly from India, and if possible, to invite teachers and dancers from India to Argentina to teach students dance and to polish the technique and base provided in Anjali, the Güngur School.
Proceeds will also be allocated to conducting public events to promote Indian art in Argentina and also help professional dancers to continue their education and learning.

Proceeds will also be designated towards collaborations with NGOs and Foundations in Argentina, Spain and India that foment dance and promote women.

The news about the progress of Pooja will be communicated on a regular basis.
